3/24/09 It doesn't get much hotter or more exciting then it is right now! We are seeing and catching among acres of large bluefin tuna. In fact it's hard to get away from them. They seem to be following us just to get caught.

4/18/09 Fishing is picking up.We're getting lots of yellowfin tuna and mahi.

4/19/09 The fish are cooperating even if the weather isn't. We had a small 3 man charter who didn't mind the 6 ft. seas and they were rewarded with a great catch of tuna up to 35#, mahi up to 30#  and a monster wahoo 70#.

5/1/09 We missed a shot at a blue marlin when he came off the hook but we did land two nice dolphin and released two sailfish.

5/13/09 First Place (so far)! We released the first and only blue marlin caught today in the Hatteras Village Offshore Open. Although it isn't likely to stand up for the entire 4 days, it does feel great to be ahead of the pack. We also caught some nice dolphin. (The upside down flag signifies that this fish was released alive.)

5/15/09 Although our blue marlin didn't hold up, it paid for the first day release money. We also got this nice yellowfin tuna which won the daily and overall prize money in its categories. Overall we won a little over $12,000.

5/22/09 Great fishing day with Jeremiah and K.C. from West Virginia getting our limit of gaffer dolphin.

5/22/09 We had a great 1/2 day inshore fun trip with Rachel, Bob and Jim. Although many fish were released we did keep a few for the skillet.

5/29/09 Mark Bean with wife and family and nice gaffer dolphin catch.

5/30/09 Another nice catch of dolphin for Will Bundy and friends in the shot below.

5/31/09 We went marlin fishing offshore today. Didn't see any billfish today but we also had six nice dolphin and a wahoo to eat. Dan Tyrell from Knoxville, TN, Jim Robinson from Richmond, VA and Melba Milak were our guests.

6/3/09 We had a half day inshore charter with (Mike, Jason, Drew, Chris, Jamie and Tom) from Belle Vernon, PA. What a great catch with 57 spanish, two dolphin (inside the inlet!) and 1 bonita mackerel. The spanish were for the most part large.

6/22/09 Today we ran two half day charters and had good catches on both. We found plenty of dolphin in the morning and then really hit the spanish mackerel during the pm trip.

6/27/09 We fished with Jay Miller and friends. Caught our limit of dolphin and could have caught many more.

6/28/09 Another great trip with James Powell and friends catching lots of gaffer dolphin and some blackfin tuna.

7/2/09 Fished today with the Auten group. Great catch of dolphin with a nice 47# citation dolphin that I would love to have had in the upcoming tournament!!

7/8/09 Here is Peter Devin party, some nice dolphin and some Blackfin tuna.

8/2009 Today was one of our better charters with 40 dolphin and we released two sailfish.
